Born and raised in Southern California, Kimberly Walker is the founder and creative director of Nomada Hotel Group, a portfolio of boutique hotels repurposed from historical spaces along California’s Central Coast. Each hotel tells its own design story—rooted in the history of the property and the natural beauty of its surroundings—with a shared commitment to authenticity and a deep sense of place.
Kimberly leads the interior design and creative direction for every Nomada project. Her work is inspired by the diverse landscapes, histories, and cultures of the destinations she explores, collaborating with artisans both locally and globally to bring each vision to life.
A passionate folk art collector, Kimberly is dedicated to sharing the stories behind traditional craft and the artists who preserve these cultural legacies through their work.
