RIVER LODGE

Paso Robles, California

For decades, the motor lodge originally known as ‘The Suburban Lodge’ has sat vacant at 1955 Theatre drive- a street named for the drive-in theatre that existed there once upon a time. River Lodge was eventually slated for demolition. Nomada Hotel Group purchased the property with a goal of preserving the iconic property’s original googie architecture while elevating the guest experience with modern amenities and features.

The design and decor transformed into a unique immersive experience that blends bohemian flair with cowboy energy, highlighting its roots while incorporating contemporary and artistic elements.

Living room with brick fireplace, wooden furniture, decorative antlers on the wall, area rug, potted plant, and a sideboard.
