GRANADA HOTEL & BISTRO

San Luis Obispo, California

The original Hotel Granada was built in 1922 and operated as such for 46 years. Located next to San Luis Obispo’s premier vaudeville venue, the Elmo Theatre, the hotel became an enclave for traveling artists and actors but rumor has it, rooms were rented by the hour throughout the 1920s.
When the building was slated to be demolished in 2012, Nomada Hotel Group purchased the property with a goal to restore the property to its former glory.
Granada Hotel & Bistro is designed to capture the intimacy of a private club and the nostalgia of deco era, all with the comforts of an intimate hotel and bistro.
Original artworks, vintage treasures, and bespoke details throughout. The guest rooms are as if suspended in time, but entirely modern. Each is unique and tells its own story, as if treasures from distant travels had been collected there.
